Several moving parts.
The controller uses finite state machines to coordinate vehicle and pedestrian traffic without conflicting directions. SPI-driven 74HC595 shift registers control the LEDs, an SSD1306 OLED displays wait times, and a potentiometer adjusts brightness through PWM.
